I was fortunate enough to discover Morzine on a summer activity holiday some 15+ years ago. I spent many of the following years with my then young daughters enjoying skiing in the winter and outdoor activities in the summer. Spending quality time with my girls in the mountains and watching them develop and mature whilst enjoying the same outdoor life that I do, continues to be a highlight of my year. 

I am not precisely sure on which trip it was that I realised that the casual, non-exclusive affair that I had embarked upon with Morzine, had developed into something far deeper and more meaningful. When I wasn’t with her, I found myself thinking about her, wondering when we would see each other again and whether she felt the same way about me. Seriously though, it may have been the third or possibly fourth trip, but I remember as the transfer bus came over the brow of the mountain and started its descent into the town, a stupid grin spread across my face and a feeling of coming home washed over me. It was then that I vowed, one day I would own a property in Morzine. 

Chalet Treforest as it is now known, bought in 2015, is that property. The apartment takes up most of the three storey building with two unrelated small apartments taking up the top floor with separate access for these at the rear of the building. 

The apartment has undergone a major refurbishment programme over the years we have owned it, most recently a newly fitted kitchen. 

The apartment is well located for access to both Morzine and Avoriaz, and provides a lovely warm, clean and cosy environment with powerful hot showers and comfy beds.
